Clone Bundles

New ‘Clone Bundle’ Feature

With the introduction of the ‘Clone Bundle’ feature in FuseSign, users can easily duplicate existing bundles to streamline the e-signing process and save time when re-sending similar bundles. This feature allows you to reuse certain elements from an existing bundle, such as contacts and documents, while also providing the flexibility to modify the cloned bundle to meet your specific needs.

Important Notes Before You Begin

  • One-Way Transition: For the ‘Clone Bundle’ feature to be enabled, your account must be using the New Bundle Creator. If you choose to enable Clone Bundles after transitioning to the new creator this change cannot be reverted.

  • What can be cloned: You can only clone bundles that are active, completed, or have been saved as drafts. Archived bundles or new unsaved bundles cannot be cloned at the stage.

  • Document Linking: If the original bundle was created from an external source (such as BGL or FYI), cloning these documents will break the link back to the original document. As a result, any signed documents will not automatically save back to their original platform unless manually re-added.

What Can Be Cloned

  • You can clone any bundle that is in your Draft, Active or Completed folders

  • By default, the clone feature will duplicate the existing bundle set up including:

    • Subject and Body

    • Settings, including applied due dates, reminders, signature mode, etc.

    • Any recipient/group configurations (without contact information)

  • You can also optionally choose to clone:

    • Assigned contacts: this will clone added contact information, such as email and number, as well as verification mode

    • Documents: This will duplicate the documents in the bundle, including signing actions for each contact or recipients. Please note that any documents duplicated from external platforms will not link back to the original document.

      • Placeholders: If you have applied placeholders to the documents, you can also choose to duplicate those. If the bundle signing mode is set to ‘Sign Entire Document’ this option will not exist.
