Connecting External Third Party Integrations
When connecting to FuseSign via a third-party integration, you will be asked to authorize the connection with your FuseWorks credentials. This can entail different permissions, depending on the user who is authorizing the connection.
Who can authorize connections
By default, only FuseSign Champions are permitted to authorize integration connections. Authorizing a connection as a Champion grants the integration access to perform actions on behalf of the business as a whole, including modifying any resources within it.
When a Champion user establishes the connection, they will be able to:
Access all bundles and contacts on the original account
Access FuseSign contacts and bundles
Draft and send new FuseSign bundles
Granting Permissions to Non-Champion Users
FuseSign Champions can also enable non-Champion users to establish connections with limited permissions. This can be done in the FuseSign Administrative Settings under Settings > External Connection Permissions.
When a non-Champion user establishes the connection, they will be able to:
Read and modify FuseSign bundles that were created by the individual user
Send new FuseSign bundles
They will not be able to:
Read and modify FuseSign bundles created by other users
Save draft bundles
If this setting has not been enabled and a non-Champion user tries to connect, they will encounter the following error:
Target Business
If your FuseWorks account belongs to multiple FuseSign businesses or tenancies, you will be able to select the desired Business to connect to from the drop down menu.
