Client Side Robotic Process Automation
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) refers to software robots that mimic repetitive human actions when interacting with digital systems and software.
At FuseWorks, we are aware that some of our clients are leveraging this technology to reduce repetitive human actions and free up their people to engage in more fulfilling work. While in concept this is aligned with our mission to give people time to focus on what really matters, in practice we provide the following words of caution when embarking on an RPA project.
We pride ourselves on our product innovation, focus on client suggested features, and short development cycles, which means that our products are continually changing in the interests of our human user experience. We cannot officially support the use of RPA because our commitment to continuous improvement in our products means that things will change, which may impact the actions that your RPA needs to perform.
If you would like to go down the path of implementing RPA across any of our products, we have no intention of stopping you from doing this however we urge you to be aware that you will bear the burden of the ongoing maintenance required to ensure that your automations continue to work with our products.
